Gusau

Ibadan

Lagos

Lagos covers a total land mass of 999.6 km2, making it one of the largest cities in Nigeria by land mass. The report has it that up to 21 million people reside in Lagos.  As at today, Lagos remains the top financial hub of Nigeria and Africa. It is also one of the busiest cities in Nigeria.

Akure

Akure covers a total land mass of 991 km2, and it is the capital city of Ondo State. Its population is up to 500,000, and the traditional title of the king reigning over this town is Deji of Akure.

Abeokuta

This city is also fairly large. It is the capital city of Ogun State and covers a total land mass of 879 km2 the city is situated close to the Ogun River, and its name means Under the Rock.

Kano

Kano is the capital city of Kano State, and it is among the largest cities in Nigeria by land mass. Its total land mass is 499 km2. Kano State also takes pride in having the largest population in northern Nigeria.
